The international, multi-talented artist/singer/ songwriter/performer Matt Goss, will headline The Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, opening Sept. 4, it was announced today by Goss’ manager and producer, Robin Antin, creator of the world famous Pussycat Dolls. Goss, known to fans worldwide as “The Voice,” who has sold more than 12 million records , will release his latest single and music video Evil, from his new CDGossy, on iTunes Aug. 4.
“Matt is the ‘Sinatra’ of today & with his David Beckham looks, Vegas is the natural place for him,” says Antin, choreographer and producer of Goss’ show. “You can do Vegas and not tour the world because everybody sees you in Vegas. Matt’s unique show will dazzle audiences with his amazing vocal talent and cool vibe that reflects his popular music and hipster lifestyle.”
Goss’ show at The Palms will offer a dynamic blend of musical talent, backed by an eight-piece band, plus sexy female dancers & backing vocalist . It’s a full-blown production featuring a mix of Goss’ career hits, songs from his new album and popular covers.
The British born Goss has enjoyed phenomenal success in the music industry beginning with his debut album, which was certified platinum seven times and sold an incredible 400,000 units in it first week of release. In addition to recording his own music, the incredibly talented Goss writes for many other artists and projects such as the song Lucky Day, featured on the soundtrack to the animated blockbuster feature film, Stuart Little. Goss also wrote the recent tune Change Me for Keri Hilson & Akon from their current chart topping album In A Perfect World. The new hit French musical Cleopatre, which has enjoyed ticket sales in excess of 500,000, features several of Goss’ songs. Goss also went on to surprise the world with his literary skills In March 2005, with the released of his autobiography, More Than You Know, achieving Best Seller status in the coveted UK Sunday Times best sellers list. Matt curently has a three book deal that will introduce the world to his amazing creation, "Bear Crimbo".
Goss also wrote the main song, It's The End Of The Road, for the number one Fox TV show So You Think You Can Dance, that went on to sell tens of thousands on iTunes.
A winner of the Brit Award for Best Newcomer, Goss has had two sell out world tours playing venues such as Tokyo's Budahkan, multiple nights at Sydney's entertainment center as well as New York’s Carnegie Hall. In addition, he became the youngest performer in history to sell out and headline Wembely Stadium . Goss was also invited by Mariah Carey to be a special guest performer at her UK concerts.
Performances for Goss’ show at The Palms casino resort are scheduled every Friday and Saturday evening beginning Sept. 4th Tickets are $25.
