Charlie Saxton

FRESH FACE: CHARLIE SAXTON OF HBO'S 'HUNG' IS ONE TO WATCH!

Charlie Saxton

Charlie stars in the upcoming "Bandslam" with Vanessa Hudgens and is a regular in HBO's hilarious new black-comedy series "Hung," which premieres Sunday, June 26.

Look for Charlie this fall in director Peter Jackson's "Lovely Bones" with Mark Wahlberg and soon in director Joel Schumacher's movie "12," about rich, spoiled, selfish and self-indulgent New York teens, (Can you say "Gossip Girly"?) starring Chace Crawford (as a drug dealer!) and Emma Roberts.

Charlie Saxton's personal prefs:

DR: Adam Lambert or Kris Allen?

I’ve gotta go with Adam Lambert. I’m not a fan of "American Idol" either, but then Sianoa (Smit-McPhee), who plays my sister in “Hung,” said, “You gotta see a video of this guy," and I checked it out. Then I watched the finale and I was as shocked as the rest of America seemed to be.

DR: Debit or credit?

Debit. That way you can’t get in debt. You've got the money. You can spend it, and that’s it.

DR: Facebook or Twitter?

I started using Twitter when I first came out to L.A. in February as way to blog about living on my own for the first time. Now when something pops into my head or I see things that I think are cool, I tweet about it.

DR: PC or Mac?

I’m a Mac guy.

DR: Grilled or fried?

Roscoe’s chicken and waffles is awesome fried, but there’s really good grilled food. I can’t choose, sorry.

DR: Last movie that made you laugh?

It’s gotta be “Up,” and on TV, it was “Ghostbusters,” my favorite movie ever.

DR: Last movie that made you cry?

“Up.” I’m sure everyone can agree.

DR: Who would you rather kiss, Megan Fox or Vanessa Hudgens?

Not Vanessa because she’s my friend and it would be awkward. Megan is pretty intimidating. I’d probably sputter and stammer if I saw her on the street. But I have a huge crush on Emma Watson from the “Harry Potter" films. I think she’s beautiful.

DR: Vegan or carnivore?

I’m a carnivore.

DR: Ink or skin?

Oh. Hmmm. I don’t know. Do I want to be cryptic?
My parents know about my tattoo. I have a paper sailboat over my heart.

DR: Cat or dog?

Dogs. I have a Lhasa-poodle mix at home.

DR: Girlfriend or boyfriend? (Hey these days, we gotta ask.)

Girlfriend.

DR: (Sure, stay mum. We'll find out who she is soon enough.)

DR: How big is your bed?

How big is my bed? Let me stand up and look. I think it’s a queen.

DR: Who's the last person you hugged?

Yesterday. It was the mother of the girl who plays my sister on HBO’s “Hung.” She took me shopping to
Ralphs.

DR: How do you get to work?

I drive my beach cruiser to the studio.

DR: "Transformers" or "Terminator"?

Probably “Transformers.” But I loved “T2.”

DR: Kate or Jon Gosselin?

I just feel so bad for everyone involved. I have heard he’s mean to her and she’s mean to him. I’m coming out for the kids.

DR: Team Aniston or Team Jolie?

Team Jolie, because my mom worked with her in “Girl, Interrupted" and she’s awesome.

DR: Are there any more Saxtons heading to Hollywood?

I have a beautiful, talented, awesome older sister who is graduating from college majoring in theater.
Her name is Mianna Saxton. She’s gonna be my date on the “Hung” premiere carpet Wednesday night.
